a piece worked on over a period of 6 months as my only, non notebook, visual art piece during the duration of my "ownership" of a van i traveled the country in. was worked on besides the erie canal, in a upstate wood shed, at a truckstop in iowa, high in the colorado mountains during a hail storm, at a rainbow gathering in washington (dont hold it against me), throughout the pacific northwest, a walmart parking lot, while stranded(or something) in the california desert when the van was broken, and lots of places inbetween. it was where i turned when i was seeking peace and meditation when those things seemed far or maybe close.
